This space is for my mum’s art to honor and remember her legacy. She was uncomfortable calling herself an ‘artist’ because she considered the time she spent at it ‘play’. Her philosophy was that ‘Art makes statements’; she wanted to experiment with line, color, and representation but only ever shared a minute fraction of what she created. I’ve always been in awe of her dedication and the beauty and quiet meaning she infused in her work. Her archive is extensive and I will keep adding to it over time. What a wild and precious life!
Her work is for sale, with a caveat.
Mostly standard prices, straightforward process — if you see something you love, it's yours.
But I'm also accepting another kind of payment.
Tell me about a mother you loved. Or tell me about mine.
If you have a story — about your mother, someone else's, the idea of one — I want to hear it. Send it to me. That's a trade I'll take.
